Mostly Eliza

I went to the Farmers Market with Camille and Eliza yesterday and they had the most beautiful sunflowers I have ever seen. Camille thought it was kind of dorky that I took a picture, but they were just to beautiful!
Eliza is hilarious! She put a diaper on lamby and likes to change it. She and Hermione have become great friends and Eliza was so excited that Hermione sat on her lap last night!

Lamby seems to be Eliza's child, she puts diapers on him and is very concerned for Lambys safety, we had to buckle him up before we could drive off!

The latest...

In Jackson's family they have a tradition of jumping off the front porch on the first day of school (it might be the last but Jackson couldn't remember so we did the first). We would have done it on the porch but it was a down pour! Our camera was not quite fast enough to catch the jump in motion but we have great before and after shots!
Start of the jump
The end of the jump
Jacqueline's wedding! Her dress was gorgeous! As was she!
The couple's first dance.
My absolutely wonderful, not to mention beautiful friends!
This weekend I was able to fly back to SLC for my dear friend Jacqueline's, wedding! It was all so beautiful and fun! It was also great to see all of my friends and family!

Odds and Ends

Beautiful mugs I got today in the mail. Painted by Thomas and Phoebe, I love them!
The garage
laundry room
Peg boards are awesome! We have been trying to make our new condo super organized so we put some up in our garage and laundry room and we love them! They are so great for organizing. I got the idea from Real Simple, my favorite magazine! Yay for organization!

Our new kittens

They like Jackson a lot more than me, which is probably a good things considering we are now pretty sure I am slightly allergic to them.
Ryan and Eliza could not be more excited about the kittens.
They really like their bed, which is good, we just need to teach them to like it more than the Utes blanket behind them. At least they have good taste.

We just got two new kittens this morning and Jackson can hardly contain his excitement. He has had so much fun playing with them today. Eliza, my niece, is over and she is used to having Boss dog around but is loving the kitties. She has wanted the kitties to dance, sit, stay, and chase her but they just don't obey her the same way Boss does. I must say although the kitties are fun, I still prefer dogs, but we are loving them.

We MADE IT!!!!

Some wild horses we saw in South Dakota
A tight tunnel
Us at Mt. Rushmore (sorry they are sideways)
We went through a town by Sturgis and wow, there were so many bikers!
We crossed the Mississippi!
About 1,800 miles and three and half days later we are in muggy hot, but beautiful, Ann Arbor! We have been unpacking all day and have put a serious dent in the mess, but honestly who knew that it was possible to have so much kitchen stuff! We have made trips to Costco and Bed, Bath and Beyond already! Let me tell you, the Costco milk jugs here look like alien milk jugs, they are so weird, we will have to take a picture! So far the only thing that broke was a lamp, so we are feeling pretty good! We are also excited for the Utes to come out here next year!

The second day

We have been pretty lucky so far to have had internet every night! We will have to post some of the pictures later! My Dad estimates we saw around 10,000 motorcylces today! And we didn't even make it to Sturgis, just the area around it! Mount Rushmore was really a fun place to see, it was amazing! Wind cave National Park was also interesting, we went 190 feet into the ground looking at the caves, and the amazing part is that they were discovered in the 1880s and the whole is so small! The Badlands look like Bryce Canyon, but not quite as orange! We saw wild buffalo, prairie dogs, and wild mules! It was amazing! We enjoyed South Dakota overall. We are now in Minnesota and are going to try to make it to Chicago tomorrow!

The Big Move

We started the move yesterday morning! After 11 hours of driving we made it to our first stop, Hot Springs, South Dakota! We drove across Wyoming yesterday and now we are about an hour below Mount Rushmore! It is crazy here because Sturgis, the big motorcycle place, is having their yearly meeting and there are about a half a million bikers/people in this area! Yesterday when my parents made a stop and while my Mom waited in the car a dog who was scared by some thunder jumped through her window into the car! Today we are off to Windcave National Park, Mount Rushmore, and Badlands Park! We hope to make it across South Dakota today and to Minnesota!
