Since we are officially still on a blogging hiatus (the computer is still gone, although it went to Texas not India or China, I am using my sisters computer) I decided to do a tag I

How long have you been married? 2 and a half years
How long did you date? We dated for 8 months and were engaged for 6 months
Who said I love you first? Jackson
Who kissed who first? Jackson kissed me first.
Who asked out who first? I asked him to the Chi Omega formal.
Who proposed? Jackson flew out to visit me in DC and proposed at the Jefferson Monument. It was fabulous the sun was setting over tidal basin, it was beautiful!
Who eats more? I swear Jackson has almost 6 meals a day.
Who is taller? Jackson is way taller.
Who is smarter? Jackson is way more disciplined when it comes to school, he gets far better grades. He is
definitely smarter in math and science, but I might be better at history and various social sciences, mostly because he finds them boring.
Who does laundry? I usually initiate laundry but Jackson almost always helps.
Who does the dishes? Mostly Jackson, I help sometimes.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, I tried to switch it up but Jackson is emotionally attached to the left side.
Who pays the bills? Jackson.
Who mows the lawn? Well we don't have a lawn but if we did I probably would or we would pay someone else to.
Who cooks dinner? Almost always me, unless we are having grilled cheese, sloppy
joes or top
ramen.
Who drives when you are together? Jackson, unless I am dropping him off or picking him up. I hate driving I get severe road rage.
Who is more stubborn? I am, although Jackson is surprisingly stubborn, most people just don't know it.
Who is cleaner? Jackson. I really am trying to get better though.
Who has more siblings? Jackson is one of seven I am one of five, you do the math.
Who wears the pants in the family? Shared, each owns their individual issues.
Whose parents do you see more often? We try very hard to see our families equally.
Who has more friends? We have a lot of shared friends and individual friends, basically we just have a lot of friends.

This is Berekley Plantation, it was built in the early 1700's I think.
Berekley is also where you can find the origin of TAPS, I think that happened during the Civil War.
Still at Berekley, you have the first Thanksgiving. Yes in Virginia not where ever Plymouth Rock is. We actually looked it up on wikipedia, the most reliable source on the internet according to Micheal Scott, and it is the first site where they decided to have a day of thanksgiving annually. I think they had the actual feast at Plymouth.

The gardens made me think of Jane Austen.
This is Shirley Plantation and the more interesting plantation if you ask me. It was built around 1720 and has been passed down from son to son since then. The family still lives on the third floor! They have made very few changes to the house and all of the things in the house are family heirlooms, it was awesome!
This is the kitchen building and was used as the kitchen until the 1940s when they put a more modern one in the basement of the house.
Grandmother Willow. This tree has been there since the 1600s.
We stopped in DC for a little while on the way down, and we walked around the mall for a little bit. It was really fun to be back there we were sad we didn't have more time!
