Cara the Ref

So for our stake basketball this year, they asked around for volunteer referees. Cara told me she really wanted to do it. Because I had visions of her calling technical fouls on everyone who said a word, I was worried that both teams would run out of players by the end of the game. So I told her she couldn't do it. But we showed up for the game, there was no ref. So even though she didn't dress for it, she jumped at the opportunity.

She did her first game today, and did a great job.

One reason she did such a good job was because she kept her whistle in her pocket.

Best looking ref I've ever seen. Especially in her boots and jeans.

The Bucket List

We have been checking things off our bucket list. We attended our last (most likely) Michigan hockey game. They finally won for us. We got some awesome tickets from my boss.

Pam and Jordan enjoyed them with us.

This was taken right before my shoe fell behind the bleachers and slide down to an area where they had to have someone open a locked door and search for it.

This is a terrible picture but it is the organ player at the Michigan theater, he plays music before the movie starts.

It is a very ornate theater and completely awesome.

We saw The King's Speech, it was great.

We went bowling, twice. Jackson bowled a 234 and Virginia discovered a love for the game.

After bowling we went to dinner at an Indian restaurant.

We met up with friends from Ann Arbor for lunch.
