I know these last two pictures have no relevance to tennis but I saw them when I was getting the other pictures and I just couldn't resist.

So you may be wondering where this random tennis post came from. Today Jackson and I tested out our complexes tennis court. I am pretty sure I am Jackson's favorite person to play tennis with, sorry Jordan. Mostly just because he has never played tennis with anyone who has such a unique style. I think Jackson's favorite thing about my style or maybe his least favorite is my signature one handed back hand, with my left hand. Anyway we had a lot of fun and are excited to play more tennis this summer! And since we didn't take any pictures of us playing tennis, enjoy the pictures of Jackson playing real tennis instead of Grandma tennis!

There's always room

Jackson and I recently discovered Google Reader. He now gets updates whenever someone lists something on the free section of Craigslist. Jackson saw a free BBQ on craigslist and he got really excited. I was skeptical because this weekend we got a patio set and don't have a ton of room left, but Jackson assured me there is ALWAYS room for a free BBQ!

Well tonight we learned that while Jackson is definitely the Ute aficionado I am definately the Jazz person in our house. Jackson had never heard the song Basketball John before tonight. No School + Hurt Back = Internet Discoveries

I just finished finals for the semester and I woke up the next day with back pain, but don't worry the Doctor (and future doctor dave), said it was just a muscle sprain (nothing to do with my past back experience). And Cara is working all day, that means I have time to reunite with goodtimes on the internet.

I am sure this will bring back some great memories. Good old Oregon Trail. I am a little rusty though. I did pass it, but Hobbes, Hermione, Fred and Cara died of various illnesses. The same website also has other old computer games on it, so enjoy.

Yes, there is more than just Michigan Football in Ann Arbor

We have found that there are more sports than just college football here.

Although I have never been a big hockey fan, we still had a great time at a Michigan Hockey game. They were ranked #1 in the country all year, but were recently upset in the "Frozen Four" by Notre Dame. Here is a short clip right after a goal.

They sell out every game and the fans get really into it. Even though we were in a family friend section, the obsene cheers could be heard across the arena.

We couldn't wait until Aug. 30th when the Utes come to the big house, so we got as many Utes as we could and watched the 2nd ranked Utes beat the 4th ranked Wolverines in Gymnastics.

Clarification

Jackson informed me that if I didn't tell everyone he is not serious about having a mustache then he would never shave it. I want it gone, he is not serious. By the way apparently Sven is funny he won 7-5.

Just another reason for Jackson's sideburns to be infamous. Have you ever seen someone who has brown AND red sideburns? I couldn't resist putting this up a second time, I mean really, a mustache?

I am sure many of you have seen this commercial. After about the tenth time Jacks decided it was probably the funniest commercial he has ever seen. He starts laughing just talking about it. So what do you think?
