Fun Times

A somewhat sideways picture of a fun night.
We had a really fun date night with all of Jackson's brothers and sisters!
Camilla and Jordan practicing their swings.
Jordan, Camilla and Stan at the family rec league game, it was intense.
A very sweaty Jackson.
Some friends and neighbors at a BBQ in the courtyard!

We have been doing a lot of fun things before we ship out on saturday!

Random happenings

We went with Camille and Ryan to help with a scanvenger hunt for the Harry Potter book release.

Jackson told me that I couldn't smile, because the characters that wear the capes are mean.
So he didn't smile either, I think we look creepy.
This was my last day of work. I have been a nanny for two wonderful children for the last four years, it was really sad for it all to end.
These are our neighbors, Matt and Caroline. Once a month we set aside a night for fondue night, only this month we decided to do Potsticker night. We made a Japanese version called Gyozas and I think they made a Korean version. They were so good!
Jackson loves to drink water, he has to a sip between almost every bite. It is something he picked up on his mission.
Hooper Springs This is Soda Springs own geyser!
This is Octagon Springs. The different springs are mineral springs! They are safe to drink from and it is oh so good! At least I think so, most people do not like it plain but if you put some Tang or Crystal light powder with it, it tastes like pop!

Poppies

I love poppies! They are such a happy friendly flower. I have been looking for a picture of a field of poppies preferably with a building in the background, for my very talented Mom to paint for me! If I ever have a white picket fence, I am going to have poppies growing in front of it!

A super fun night!

Lindsey and me at the Farewell Party!
The whole group ( at least the ones who were there at the end!)
The boys
The girls
Lindsey and Nate were really excited to arrive
A croquet match in the backyard
Jordan and Camilla were victims of my snap happy mood!
Cassi and Mark

The darling pregnant women
Jenny and me
We thought it was funny that all these boys were standing in a row against the railing
Elliots best Uncle Sam impression

We had a wonderful farewell BBQ! Our friends were so wonderful to come and throw this! We are so lucky to have so many amazing friends and so many fun memories with them all. We will definatley miss them all!

Home Run Derby

I actually had some really good hits but this one seems to be a little more swing than hit...
Jackson said it isn't his fault he didn't look at the camera, he was trained to keep his eye on the ball!
Dave also had some great hits but unfortunately for him this picture is just a lot more funny than the others! I think this is his Singing in the Rain hitting position!
Jenny had some great hits as well but again this picture is just more funny! At least I think so! I think this is the karate batting position!
Alex can get a little dramatic when he really wants to catch the ball! Very good form though!
Jenny is an intense hard hitter!

We had a more fun taking pictures than trying to catch the ball.
Take a look at that form, a result of years and years of practice!
Jackson's Babe Ruth pose!
I think he was afraid the ball would hit him.

We finally got Jackson's eyes to focus on the camera!

We had a really fun 4th of July! We wet up to my family cabin tuesday night and stayed over for the breakfast and parade! We decorated my Uncle Joel's 1948 Power Wagon and rode it in the Parade, it was so much fun! We also had a fun BBQ at Jacksons parents house followed by fireworks! I love the 4th! It was so fun today to read a book to Thomas ( the boy I nanny) about George Washington and be reminded why we celebrate Independance Day! Thanks to all the troops working to maintain our Independance!
