Graduation

Last Friday Jackson and I graduated! It was very exciting! We had several friends who were graduating at the same time which was really fun! We heard the fight song quoted several times during our various graduation activities,

I am a Utah Man, sir, and I live across the green, Our gang it is the jolliest that you have ever seen. Our coeds are the fairest and each one's a shining star, Our yell, you'll hear it ringing through the mountains near and far!

We're up to snuff, we never bluff, we're game for any fuss. No other gang of college men dare meet us in a muss. So fill your lungs and sing it out and shout it to the sky, We'll fight for dear old crimson for a Utah Man am I! Ki-yi!

And when we prom the avenue, all lined up in a row, And arm in arm and step in time as down the street we go. No matter if a freshman green, or in a senior's gown, The people all admit we are the warmest gang in town.

We may not live forever on this jolly good old sphere,But while we do we'll live a life of merriment and cheer,And when our college days are o'er and night is drawing nigh,With parting breath we'll sing that song:"A Utah Man Am I".

Chorus

Who am I, sir, A Utah Man am I! A Utah Man, sir, Will be 'til I die. Ki-yi!

We are very proud to be "Utah Men"

Beehive Honor Society

Jackson was inducted to the Beehive Honor Society, one of Utah's oldest and most prestigious Honor Societies. They pick the inductees based on their academic achievement and involvement at the U. Jackson had two pledge brothers who were inducted as well! I was very proud of him, when I read his list of achievements among everyone elses, you couldn't help but be impressed! Jackson is the fourth in his family to become a member (his Dad and three older brothers are all members!)

Ward Basketball

Jackson plays on the Ward Basketball team and this year they won the Region Championship! It was so exciting because they had to beat all the Singles Ward Basketball teams (who were probably in better shape overall). It was very fun to watch! Jackson played very well! The colors are kind of dark on some of the pictures, it took me a while to figure out how to get the best pictures in the gym, sorry!

Spring Break!

For Spring Break we went down to Arizona! We drove down with Jackson's brother Jordan and his girlfriend Camilla. We spent time with my Grandparents and cousins and Jackson's brother Dave, his wife Danielle and their baby Luke! It was a lot of fun and VERY HOT! It was in the nineties most of the time and even hit 100! We played mini golf, went to the pool almost every day, BBQ's, dinner at Abuelo's, Cheesecake factory and of course Jackson's favorite, In-N-Out! Jackson and Jordan played real golf with my cousin Daniel and Mike. We also went to see the Grand Canyon on the way down, I was the only one out of the four who had seen it before!

Brighton

We went up to the cabin, in Brighton, with some of our friends and as you can see we used our very stylish snow apparel.

Go Big Blue!

It is official, we sent in the money and this summer Jackson will become a University of Michigan Dental School Student, Class of 2011. We will be moving to Ann Arbor sometime between June and the first part of August, depending on when I can get a job and housing! We are excited!
