Cruise part one

In January we went on a cruise with the Godfrey family. It has been years since our last reunion and it was so fun not only to be on a cruise but to be with my family. Since this set of pictures is from Jackson's iPhone they are going to be all mixed up and I am lazy enough to not want to change that...
We watched many of the boys play basketball on the cruise, that is when their game wasn't being interrupted by people randomly walking on the court.
I couldn't go on the zipline so Jackson and I went on a tour of a 'plantation and great house' that sounded way cooler on paper than it really was. We did learn everything there is to know about banana trees though.
My brother found a hole in the wall restaurant in Mexico. The food was delicious and luckily no one got sick.
This is the cruise ship, the largest in the world, docked in "Haiti". I put quotations around Haiti because we went to a private beach that I am pretty sure does not represent Haiti as a whole.
In our cabin hanging out. Jackson liked taking pictures of towel animals.
Learning more about banana trees and so thrilled about it.
Eating in Mexico
Chelsea and Jesse at Dunn River Falls, more about that in the next post.
The Royal Promenade was pretty fancy
Karaoke night. My family rented out the karaoke bar for two hours and the employees could not believe that we were all stone cold sober.
It wouldn't be a Godfrey trip without flattering pictures of people zonked out.
Jackson thought this was hilarious and was pretty sure his brothers would too.
The 'great house' in Jamaica. I was not that impressed, it was kind of run down.
More basketball watching.
Jackson ate like a pro. He ordered two entrees and desserts every night at dinner, usually with an appetizer.
More karaoke
and more basketball
Recently Jackson has taken an interest in large vehicles of transportation and having me stand in front of them for comparison. Here is me and the cruise, coming up is me and the overly large truck in our neighborhood.
80's night dancing. I did well for a while and then my ankles started swelling...
The beach in Haiti. We didn't take many pictures here because we were mostly lounging.
Back in the US of A.
and I barely fit in the airport Chili's booth.
You are all lucky I only put two of the towel animals in here, there were many more pictures taken.
The only coolish part of the great house in Jamaica.
