June

In June so far we have celebrated Derek and Savannah's birthdays, swam multiple times in Derek's new pool, celebrated our first real fathers day, slept, ate, and burped repeatedly. Whitman is starting to smile more while Edith's smiles are mostly still reserved for sleep.I meant to do a fathers day post but that never happened. As you can see these babies love their daddy and he is having the time of his life. It has been fun watching his transition to fatherhood. He is already working with Whitman on how to correctly shot a basketball and he sings Edith the sweetheart of sigma chi when he puts her to bed. He is the best dad and we all love him.

More from the weekend

The babies got lots of love this weekend. We went to the lake, out to eat and threw several birthday parties over the weekend. It was awesome!

Memorial Weekend

We have had a lot of fun with Cara's entire family in town. Although it did take an elaborate hoax about Cara separating her shoulder so that Cara's mom would fly out here for a surprise get together with her family

I had a dream the other night about being a bad blogger. So here are a ton of pictures of the babies first three weeks. They have spent lots of time with Grandma and various aunts and uncles, started tummy time, gone on a few walks and made their way through several million diapers. We are loving it all.
