Happy Birthday Cara!

Here a few pictures that Cara's mom recently found and sent to us.
I think they showcase just a few of the many things that we love about Cara.

Cara's Dad love this picture. It was when Cara gathered some flowers to give to her parents. Cara has alway been extremely generous to everyone she knows.

Cara loves boxer dogs. She even brought her dog for the school picture.
Cara is a great ventriloquist. She performs weekly at a local comedy every Saturday night. Actually, she just loves her American Girl. I think this one was Kristen?

Today is Cara's Birthday, horay!

Happy Birthday!!!

Go Utes!

We are so glad the Utes came out with the win! We watched the game with Jackson's sister and brother and their families.
We all had Thanksgiving together on Thursday, it was delicious.

lately

Jackson is celebrating the end of what he called "the Highland curse". His high school team won the state championship last night (he watched online, I slept). He was really excited when they won in overtime. I will say that this photo was taken against Jackson's wishes, but really I couldn't resist. The curse has been broken.
We went to South Bend and Chicago last weekend. I am pretty sure we will see this car in the next Batman.
We went to the Art Museum
Chicago Bean
A Chicago architectural boat tour, it was very cold. Trevor didn't know what had hit him.
We met up with my brothers in Chicago and had dinner.
We went to the Utah vs. Notre Dame game, it rained almost the entire game.
We looked for Rudy
Found touchdown Jesus.
Here is Hobbes modeling his Utah cape.

Halloween

We had chili and breadsticks on Halloween. Pam made a cake for Jordan's birthday.

We had about 25 people come this year.
Hobbes as a jester. He loves having stuff around his neck that jingles.
Jackson as Denard Robinson
Heisman? I don't think so.
Jordan and Pam as Humpty Dumpty and the red brick wall.
Our pumpkins. If you look closely you can see Jackson making the same face as his pumpkin.

Happy Halloween!

when Mom came to town

My Mom flew in for a couple of days before heading on to Camille's.
She brought her paints so I attempted my first real painting. I have a long way to go.
Painting in the kitchen.
Out to eat with Mom.
