Paint

Left= Red 1 Right= Red2
Left= Blue 1 Right= Blue2

We are planning on doing a little painting. Tonight we painted a few swatches on our wall and we are having a hard time deciding. We are kind of leaning towards the lighter blue for the bathroom. The red we painted on one our walls for an accent wall, now we are wondering if we should try and less va voom color, maybe a green? Let us know what you think, I know it is hard to see the colors really well.

  1. There's nowhere to vote for "they're exactly the same." I know Jackson is picky on colors, but come on Cara, tell him it's just paint.

  2. Hey Cara!!

    I haven't talked to you in forever! I hope you are doing well. As for the paint, I just painted our bathroom a grey and didn't want to go too dark, so I went with the lighter and it almost looks white now and I wish we'd done the darker shade. I can't really tell how dark your blues are but I have to say a nice warm/ not too deep color make small spaces like a bathroom really stand out. You guys are so dang cute and I hope I will be able to find your blog again so I can see what more cool stuff you do. :)

  7. I love the red but maybe go a little more cranberry red rather than fire engine red that way it's not as "vava voom" but still red. I like the darker blue. I think you should always go a shade darker than you think so you don't end up with a color that looks washed out.

  9. I can't actually tell the difference on the red, but i agree with Nat, do a red that has more brown undertones like cranberry as opposed to an orangier (is that a word?) red. as for the blue, i like the darker better. sometimes light blue can look too baby boy-ish...

    either way i'll look great! lets hope I can stranded in detroit soon and can come and see!
